Mariko Sprigner
At Deep Ellum Windows.
I met Mariko the last night she was in Dallas for her Centraltrak Residency. Just days before she was to travel to Dallas Mariko was hit by an SUV and ended up in a wheelchair. She had a cane when I met her. A wonderful and positive person - her works, chronicling her ordeal, were hung outside a Deep Ellum building lit by, yes you guessed it, the headlights of an SUV.
